(Ed talks about going to the University of Minnesota with Dr. Jakob Tolar. Dr. Tolar is a bone marrow transplant physician. He is working on stem cell research to treat or cure EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa). Ed and Stone toured the facility and meet with the families there. Ed treats Dr. Tolar to a tour of his facility, the Pearl Jam stage. The doctor gets to meet the guys. He identifies Stone as the smartest one in the band for asking the right questions about the research. Dr. Tolar gets to hear how loud Mike’s rig is and drink some of Ed’s wine to toast the audience. (Ed talks sports with the audience for a bit. He also challenges them to out sing the audiences from the last few shows. He says this is the first show his wife has come to and he really wants the audience to sing so he can impress her. He continues with “St. Paul was named for McCartney right? Well, this is by St. John.” During the song the audience sings along and use the flashlight on their phones to light up the arena.)

(Ed sees a sign from a person saying that there are three generations of fans there. After some confusion due to Ed’s eyesight regarding the gender of the person with the sign it is determined that the sign holder is a woman but Ed wants to keep the options open. The woman is with her father and is pregnant. She has Ed tell her father that the baby is a boy.)
