merde après leur premier et excelent album ils avaient sortis un album assez ambitieux qui donnait envie d'écouter le 3eme... qui ne sera pas! :cry:

Pour Bruno GD:

Septembre (nouveau groupe de Terry Abbott, ex-Vex Red) se met en stand-by pour une durée indéterminée. Les membres semblent désireux de se consacrer à d'autres projets musicaux, du moins pour le moment.

Boy Sets Fire have announced on their website that the band has decided to retire:

it is not with a heavy heart that we write these words but with a head held high. we wanted to collectively inform you that BOYSETSFIRE has decided to retire. thank you all for your support and belief in us over the last 12 years...please know it meant the world to us.

BOYSETSFIRE for us was always a vehicle for changing the world and we believe that change comes about by starting with yourself, so instead of awaiting certain things to come our way, as always we decided to take our destiny in our own hands. we're not sure which path each of us will take from here on out, but we plan to continue following our dreams... we will play all the shows of our upcoming european tour and possibly one or two last shows on the east coast sometime this fall (we will keep you posted on this)

Through the 12 years the band was together, they released countless full-lengths, EPs, and splits. 1997 saw a release of The Day the Sun Went Out, Suckerpunch Training and splits with both Shai Hulud and Coalesce in 2000, After The Eulogy in 2001, Live For Today in 2002, Tomorrow Come Today in 2003, and most recently The Misery Index: Notes from the Plague Years.

Adequate 7 se retirent de la scène britannique après près de 6 ans d'existence. Un single et un DVD qui sont déjà prêts devraient néanmoins paraître comme prévu. Plus d'infos bientôt.

Arab Strap splitte!
Après dix ans de collaboration et six album, le duo écossais Arab Strap vient d'annoncer la fin de son activité sans autre motif que la sensation d'avoir fait le tour de la question. Pour finir en beauté, le duo sortira fin octobre au Royaume Uni une compilation retrospective comprenant notamment des lives, des radio sessions, et remixes.

Ouais je l'ai mis dans le topic "Les news du rock..." hier, chui bien vert mais heureusement il sortent quand même leur dernier album (début 2008) et normalement devrait y avoir une tournée européenne, avant la fin...

Split du jour: Hell Is For Heroes. Enfin pas un split total puisque le groupe n'exclue pas de plancher éventuellement sur un quatrième album et de faire un ou deux concerts ça et là (pas de tournées en revanche)...
