JOHNNY Marr and The Healers got a little help from a friend at their gig at The Metro on Monday night.
During their encore, Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder was brought on to the stage to sing Fortunate Son, an anti-war number by Credence Clearwater Revival.

Vedder has been making it clear during Pearl Jam's Australian tour how he feels about the current world tensions, donning a George W. Bush mask and singing a version of The Temptations classic, Bruce Springsteen's War.

Also enjoying Marr's performance was touring British chanteuse Beth Orton.
