On January 30, 2015, surviving Mad Season members Mike McCready and Barrett Martin performed selections from the band's repertoire at the Seattle Symphony’s Sonic Evolution concert, with conductor Ludovic Morlot and guest artists including Soundgarden's Chris Cornell (filling in for the late Layne Staley), Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron and Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan (filling in for the late John Baker Saunders).

The Mad Season performance also included guests Jeff Angell, Kim Virant, Sean Kinney (Alice In Chains), Skerik, and Tim Dijulio.
The night also included an appearances from Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard who alongside Cornell, McCready, and Cameron, performed songs as Temple Of The Dog.

This event was the result of a year-long artistic collaboration between Mike McCready and Seattle Symphony Music Director Ludovic Morlot. Proceeds from the album sales will benefit the Seattle Symphony and the Vitalogy Foundation.

D'après ce que j'ai lu sur Red Mosquito, l'existence de ce bootleg vinyl a semble-t-il poussé le groupe/management/Tim Bierman a proposé le Vault correspondant.
Vu qu'il était déjà sorti il y a quelques années (en 2005 ou 2006) en tant que test de la plateforme de download des bootlegs officiels au format mp3 (fallait être sur le site au bon moment pour le voir et le télécharger), cela n'a pas du leur coûter cher de préparer le master pour des vinyls. J'espère qu'ils ont pensé à faire un mastering vinyl pour l'occasion, et ne pas partir des fichiers mp3...

Introducing...Ten Commandos

Ten Commandos started early August 2008 after a conversation between Matt Cameron (Soundgarden, Pearl Jam) and Alain Johannes (Eleven, Queens of the Stone Age) following a memorial concert for Natasha Shneider (Eleven). Alain had the idea to write and record songs using Matt and Ben Shepherd (Soundgarden, Hater) as the rhythm section. The three convened in Seattle in late 2008 and for 7 days and wrote the bulk of the record. Matt and Alain’s schedules cleared up enough in the spring of 2014 to finally finish the songs in Seattle. With the addition of Dimitri Coats (OFF!, Burning Brides) on guitar, the band entered famed Studio Litho with engineer Don Gunn. In the summer of 2014, the band finished recording at studio 11ad in Hollywood CA. All members contributed in the writing of the record. Guest musicians include Mark Lanegan (Staring Down the Dust), NIkka Costa (Come) and legendary guitarist Peter Frampton (Sketch 9).
