Just got home now (6:40am) I just haven't slept. Feel like ass, but still buzzin'.
Sparing the boring details...when we were allowed into the studio, they sort of told us where to go. Me and my friend ended up right at the back, in the corner. In a totally shitty place. I saw Ed over on the other side of the stage, so I decided to hop over the barrier thingy and walk over and stand on the floor next to Pearl Jam. Not a problem. My friend followed soon after. I was stood right next to Stone, amazing view. They started with WWS, then Corin Bailey Ray played (Stone was totally loving it, getting his groove on), and The Zutons, Jamie Foxx, The Spintos Band...and some other cute lass, don't know her name though. It would go round like this for the 2 hours. to my left was Jamie Foxx, when he was chatting to Jools, Eddie was standing right next to me on my left, and Stone and Mike on my right. I had a chance to speak to them all here and there. They played Severed Hand. Jools had a talk with Mike and Eddie, showed them some 13 year old footage. They ended the show with Alive. Eddie went over to dance with Corin in the funny way he does. I shook all the bands hand and joked with PJ's guitar tech throughout.
I spoke with Corin Bailey Ray at the end since she's from Leeds too. She used to be really into Ten and Vs. She says she has a lot of catching up to do. You could see her singing along to Alive.
So all in all a pretty surreal night.
I'll sleep later...
Oh, and while I was gone, I got my friend to order Paris tix for us!
