Je mets le lien dans le sujet Lian Finn pour simplifier (il est sur scène mais il chante pas...), donc extrait d'un concert d'Auckland du projet de Neil Finn 7 Worlds Collide avec en line up : le guitariste et le batteur de Radiohead, le bassiste et le chanteur de Wilco, Johnny Marr guitariste des Smiths et Liam finn donc.

Reprise de Fake Plastics Trees de Radiohead, j'aime bien cette version (les inconditionnels de Thom Yorke peut être pas mais j'aime beaucoup Jeff Tweedy!)

Nouvel album prêt EP "Champagne in Seashells " boisson et réceptacle de l'alcool bu après les sessions d'enregistrement. Enregistré en 2 semaines en Nouvelle-Zélande...

son show de la maroquinerie était mortel

j'y allais limite en trainant les pieds appréciant l'album sans toutefois lui trouver du génie

et c'te claque en live ! ca part totalement à contre courant de cette image de gentillet

les mélodies sont toujours là avec une énergie dingue

et quand il passe derrière la batterie ... aie aie aie
c'est méchamment lourd et bon

ca faisait longtemps que j'avais pas été conquis a ce point par un artiste que j'allais voir sans trop y croire

(PR) Songwriter Liam Finn and musical muse Eliza-Jane Barnes team up for Champagne in Seashells, a new five song EP and the follow-up to 2008s I'll Be Lightning.

Since the release of Lighting Liam has circled the globe on several headline tours of his own as well as enjoying opening slots with the Black Keys and two stints with Eddie Vedder. Liam also participated in the 7 Worlds Collide project with Jeff Tweedy, John Stirrat and Pat Sansone of Wilco, Ed O'Brien and Phil Selway of Radiohead and Johnny Marr among others.

Champagne in Seashells continues the melody focused, studio-as-instrument stylings of Lightning while simultaneously dabbling in the 80s power pop of 'Long Way to Go' and the down tempo, glitching balladry of the Eliza-Jane sung 'On Your Side.'

Liam will announce another major tour support slot soon as well as a smattering of headline dates and news on a new album slated for next year. Stay tuned!
