Auteurs d'un très bon "No Push Collide" en 2003, les Britanniques de Serafin ont remis le couvert récemment. Quelques mois après la sortie de "To The Teeth", passé quasi inaperçu, le groupe l'offre en intégralité et au téléchargement sur sa page LastFM. C'est ici.

Bon ça !! Enplus je l'avais pas en bonne qualité.. Je vais le réécouter pour la cause..

Mastodon est prêt à rentrer en studio très prochainement avec le producteur Brendan O'Brien (Rage Against The Machine, Incubus...).Le groupe espère sortir son prochain disque avant la fin de l'année.

c'est trés bien sur album mastodon, mais en live, pouha, c'est du purrin sonore.
dommage pour eux, sans ça ils auraient largement pu passer le pallier de notoriété qu'ils ont atteint aujourd'hui. je les ai vu dans toutes les configurations possibles (petite salle, bercy, stade, festival indoor/open air), à chaque fois c'était la même bouillie

Carrément ! J'adore les artworks du chanteur.

je me rappelle en première partie de tool a lyon ils jouaient tellement fort qu'ils ont petés les micro d'un ampli, il se sont tous barrés en courant a cause des larsen, dans le public on ne s'est rendu compte de rien....

dommage parce que c'est vraiment un groupe enorme.

Writing new album!!!

We have been writing for an upcoming album for the past couple months here and there. Even though it may seem like "Calmed By The Tide" just came out, we wrote and recorded that album a year and a half ago! So far the songs we have written are much heavier and we experimented with more effects and really focused on doing something powerful and atmospheric. We can't wait for the world to hear the new material. More soon, as well as some possible NC tour dates!!

Firebird, the British band led by former Carcass/Napalm Death guitarist Bill Steer, will enter Berno studios in Malmö, Sweden on May 19 to begin recording their new album for a late 2008 release via Rise Above Records. The group will spend two weeks recording and mixing at the same studio where Firebird`s second album, 2001`s Deluxe, was conceived.

Firebird`s current lineup includes Bill Steer (vocals, guitar), Ludwig Witt (drums) and the band`s latest addition, Smok Smoczkiewicz (bass).

Firebird released its most recent album, Hot Wings, in Europe in July 2006 via Rise Above Records. The CD was issued in Japan on May 31, 2006 through Victor Entertainment.

The Sex Pistols en DVD.

Sex Pistols sortent un DVD Live le 30 juin, filmé pendant leur tournée en 2007. Réalisé par un collaborateur de longue date, devenu ami, Julien Temple, ce documentaire de 98 minutes contient le live des Pistols à Londres.
Le groupe sera de nouveau en tournée cet été, avec un passage au festival de l’île de Wight le 14 juin.

nouvel album pour CANDLEBOX, le 22 juillet

CANDLEBOX make their triumphant return to the modern music game this summer with their first new record in ten years. "Into The Sun" will be released July 22 on Silent Majority Group in conjunction with Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group.

The original CANDLEBOX songwriting team of singer Kevin Martin and guitarist Peter Klett along with original drummer Scott Mercado, reunited shortly before the 2006 Rhino/Warner Brothers retrospective, "Best Of Candlebox", was released.

CANDLEBOX's 2008 lineup features three of the founding four members — only bass player Bardi Martin has been replaced by Adam Kury.

After being apart for more than 7 years, Martin and Klett discovered that the time and tide apart had nurtured enhanced chemistry and mutual personal evolution that has now manifested in a cache of new songs that leave their past works, for lack of a better phrase, far behind.

"Into The Sun" was produced by Ron Aniello (BARENAKED LADIES, LIFEHOUSE) engineered by Cliff Norrell (REM, HENRY ROLLINS) and mixed by Norrell and Mike Shipley (NICKELBACK, DEF LEPPARD). Kevin Martin (vocals) and Peter Klett (guitar) Scott Mercado (drums) and Adam Kury (bass) have come together to make a bold, eclectic mix of rhythms and textures that will make long-time CANDLEBOX fans mouths water and has the potential to vault this band back into the national spotlight.
