Oh man I just recovered from an amazing evening. Yesterday I finally (after 16 years of waiting) saw Dave Abbruzzese in Berlin on drums for Stevie Salas.
Dave is alive and kicking!
And not only that he is an extremely nice guy! The show was great and Dave`s playing is as good as it was 15 years ago (if not better). After the show he took the time to talk with me for about ONE HOUR
He talked about everything - about the broke up - about his new projects... It was really interesting to finally hear it all from his perspective. I won`t talk about details here because I think that`s something they have to do if they want... And it`s history... Pearl Jam lost an amazing drummer but he seems to do pretty well now.
It sounded like he will do more live playing now so there might be a chance for you to also see him (don`t miss it!).
One cool thing he also signed my VS vinyl. It was funny because i was a bit afraid that he does not want to sign it because just one week ago i had it signed by PJ (when they played in Berlin). I was not sure if he would like that But it turns out that he`s still very proud of the stuff he did there and had absolutely no problem with it.

So here are some pics:
