merci mon petit erik estrada à moi

If I can ask one thing when I am dead
would you lay me down by the river bed?
let me wash away
let it take me back from where I came
all I am and all I was is just
blood and dirt and bones and mud
and I'm better off that way
I'm better off that way

J'arrive à l'instant de Boston...

SOLIDE !!

PORCH acoustique...C'EST SOLIDE ! !!

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 3820246479

http://www.ritzcarlton.com/hotels/boston/

Et le Crew au Radisson Stuart Street... +/- 250 $ la nuit.

http://www.radisson.com/bostonma

Un robot ? WTF ? !! ;) Je vais me pieuter robot !! ;):)

Vedder and Epstein jam at Toad

Some 17,000 people saw Theo Epstein join Pearl Jam at the TD Banknorth Garden, and windmill his way through a cover of Neil Young's ``Rockin' in the Free World." But barely 50 folks were at Toad a few hours later, when Epstein and Eddie Vedder strolled into the tiny Cambridge club and jammed with Bill Janovitz . The Buffalo Tom singer had invited the Sox GM to drop by with his superstar sidekick, and -- lo and behold -- he did. ``I really didn't think they'd make it out," said Janovitz, who's been friends with Epstein for a few years and first met Vedder when their respective bands played at Bunratty's back in '91. Theo happily joined Janovitz and the Gentlemen's Ed Valauskas on a version of "Taillights Fade" -- a Buffalo Tom tune that's apparently a favorite of Vedder's -- before the Pearl Jam singer agreed to grab the mike on `` Rockin' in the Free World," Young's ``Cortez the Killer," and ``It Makes No Difference" by the Band. ``It took a little arm-twisting to get him up there, but not much," said Janovitz. An invigorated Vedder described the after-hours affair as ``off the grid" because, he said, the stage is ``about the size of [Pearl Jam drummer] Matt Cameron's drum kit." Afterward, the group, which included Epstein's fiancee Marie Whitney, sat around a table, talking about books, music, and family. "Eddie and I traded pictures of our kids," said Janovitz. ``It was really a great night, a total blast."

Second helping of Pearl Jam as good as the first

Whether you're a fan or not, Pearl Jam deserves credit for one thing: Only a handful of artists play as long and as hard and compose their set lists as thoughtfully as the Seattle quintet.

Thursday night's wide-ranging, often transporting 2 1/2-hour-plus show at TD Banknorth Garden was no exception. If every song didn't reach the heights of rock concert nirvana, at least Pearl Jam can't be accused of phoning it in, especially after the previous night's performance, which still had fans raving.

Members of the band, especially amped up guitarist Mike McCready, clearly still had plenty of energy and love for Boston, which frontman Eddie Vedder proclaimed frequently, with hoists of his wine bottle.

The set list featured some overlap from Wednesday, including a big chunk of their strong new album, but also a few rarely heard oldies that had the sold-out house roaring with joy.

Playing without pretense, the band ripped through a 30-song set that circuitously covered its hard rocking 15-year history. Unlikely but welcome returns came from the punky ``State of Love and Trust " and the scorching kiss-off ``Leash ."

There were a few fallow periods during which the less compelling tunes or the erratic sound quality -- McCready's solos were oddly muted in the mix -- deflated the energy.

But the peaks were so high, the crowd could have used a Sherpa.

On a magnificent encore version of ``Alive " the band transformed its first, exceedingly familiar hit into a communal bloodletting. It ended with Vedder throwing himself about with such abandon that he stumbled, knocked over his microphone stand, and collapsed in a satisfied heap as McCready sprinted around the stage as if trying to keep up with his own frenzied solo.

Vedder also chatted with the crowd throughout, thanking Red Sox GM Theo Epstein for his matching donation to the band's local charity beneficiary, and saluting the armed forces. The statements weren't meant to be political, said Vedder. After experiencing such a beautiful day, he said, ``I thought it was only right to include them in our thoughts."

Epstein also joined the band for a spirited version of Neil Young's ``Rockin' in the Free World. "
