...so, Scott asked me if I could do a song, so we could try and fool everyone. It was short notice, but I agreed and put something together.
Then it was put up on TSIS. And people were falling for it. Especially on Synergy. But they had the disadvantage of never having heard my music, which some people on here (had and) clued into after a while and were able to recognize me (kudos to you ).
Probably the most amusing thing that I saw was how many comparisons were made to other songs, especially Led Zep songs. All of the songs mentioned I had never heard before, which certainly gave me a little giggle. I was "ripping off" all these other artists, of which I never heard the songs. ha! However, I did indeed blatantly rip off a riff from a popular song, but nobody noticed it at all. Jet - "Get What You Need" Especially listen in about 2:40 into the song where the bridge kicks in and you'll hear it.
But hey, I guess if enough music gets around, everyone is just ripping off everyone
So, I hope nobody was too pissed. I think there was a poll on Synergy about who believed the song was legit, and it was about 50/50. That's pretty good in my book. haha. Some people said that loved it and plenty said they thought it was crap. Well, I'm not offended because I threw it down and recorded it in about 15 minutes with little thought except to try and sound and much as ed as possible. With a bit of a gossard-like riff.
I gotta say, that was really pretty entertaining watching all the ruckus. But a lot of you didnt fall for it, nice job! And those who did fall for it, kick ass! Anyone want to start a cover band
naaah.

Sounds like a very good guess to me.
Good guess. 4 out of 5. I did play the bass too, not the computer

J'en suis pas certain... la voix est sous-mixée et il y a des intonations qui ne sont pas les siennes (40-50 sec, surtout la fin de la phrase à 0'51). Je dirais plutôt que c'est une très bonne imitation...
