In about 10 days Pearl Jam will be confirmed as the headline act at Oxegen in Ireland - trust me on this - heard it from a very very very well placed MCD person... apparently there are about 10 more shows to be announced on this tour by the way... this is an ad hoc european festival tour and London will also not be the only UK show....
The hold up in Ireland is that the band want to play Slane and the promoters can't do the gig until late August because of silly planning laws... hence, the Oxegen festival is the only alternative...

I just saw this morning on MuchMusic (Canadian Music Channel), that it is tentatively scheduled that PJ will be playing TO & MTL in August...They also said that PJ will be also playing some american cities that missed out last years avocado tour...The VJ didn't specify more than that since it was just a 30 second blurb...

To be scheduled, Russ or Jono who ever the fuck it is in the morning, just mentioned after playing a PJ song that they were playing Wembley and arranging further dates in ye olde kingdom as we speak.

Anticipation for T in the Park tickets going on sale is growing. Last year tickets went on sale on February 17th 2007 and sold out in hours, so tickets might go on sale on February 16th 2007. The T in the Park line up is expected to released a few days before that.

Kelly Slater say's PJ will tour US in mid summer!

I am a Sports Producer for a Bay Area TV station...and yesterday (Wed) I was out at the Celebrity Shootout at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament in Monterey, CA.
I had a chance to interview Kelly Slater... and one of the questions I asked him was what was currently playing in his Ipod. He named a few obscure bands and then said "oh and some Jack Johnson...and lots of Pearl Jam".
I then softened him up with some knowledge of him playing Indifference with the boys in Hawaii ( he said it was a blast) and getting that personalized Gibson SG (wich he informed me was not a gift from PJ but instead his sponser...I didn't know that.)
I was finally done with the interview (put the mike down) then I said "thanks...and by the way do you know if they're coming back here to tour this year".
His response was "yeah Ed told me about mid summer...after they get back from Europe"
I said "back here in the States?" He responds "yeah..that's what he told me."

ouh là ca c'est un scoop, ou une erreur de netfestival.info... Mais si PJ joue vraiment à Lowlands, alors ils auront encore des dates entre Werchter et Lowlands... J'ai des doutes, mais bon, on verra.
